PE AND School Sports
PE at St Thomas'
At St Thomas’, we strive to create a culture that aims to inspire an active generation to enjoy PE, encourage each other and achieve. We provide a safe and supportive environment for children to flourish in a range of different physical activities, which is essential in supporting their physical, emotional, spiritual, social and moral development.
We use the Get Set 4 PE schemes of work.
We are fortunate to have our own outdoor, heated pool (funded by the PTA) which we use throughout term 6. Each class has three swimming lessons a week with their class teacher and the class teaching assistant who is lifeguard trained.
Our PE Subject Leader is Mr Dale Saxby.
